Responsibilities

I. University Administration

  • Review and submit the University's Annual Work Plan for approval.
  • Review and submit University Reports for approval.

II. Meetings

  • Coordinate meetings of the Board of Trustees, University Council, and Administrative Council, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and agenda preparation.
  • Review, approve, and issue the official minutes of the Board of Trustees, University Council, and Administrative Council meetings.

III. Regulations

  • Revise regulations related to the Board of Trustees.
  • Revise the Table of Delegated Responsibilities and Authorities.
  • Announce and disseminate government regulations.
  • Compile and maintain the University's regulations from all administrative and academic units.

IV. Conferment of Honorary Titles

  • Confer the Honorary Doctorate.
  • Present University-level certificates and medals of commendation.

V. Liaison Affairs

  • Handle official correspondence and communications from other institutions.
  • Process official documents from government authorities.
  • Coordinate exchanges and collaborative affairs between the University and the Mackay Medical Foundation, Mackay Memorial Hospital, and the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan.

VI. Special Assignments

  • Handle special assignments designated by the Board of Trustees or the President.

VII. Official Seals

  • Safeguard and manage the University's official seal.
  • Maintain and administer the official seal of the legal entity.

VIII. Other Administrative Affairs

  • Handle legal entity registration.
  • Manage institutional memberships and membership fee payments (e.g., the Association of Private Universities and Colleges of Taiwan).
